African American Jewish Coalition for Justice (AAJCJ)
June R. Chaus Scholarship
Named for the African American Jewish Coalition’s founding Treasurer, June Chaus, an annual scholarship of up to $1,500 is awarded to minority students, with preference extended to members of the African American and Jewish communities. The goal of the June R. Chaus Scholarship is to assist students who are committed to working for social justice, and who may have been disadvantaged due to race, ethnicity, national background, religious affiliation or sexual orientation. Students who have been inspired to work for constructive social change due to one or more of the above factors are also welcome to apply.
If you have reviewed and believe you meet the eligibility criteria for the scholarship, we welcome your application (WORD) between January 1 and April 30 each year. Applications received before or after this period will not be considered.
Please consider supporting the June R. Chaus Scholarship through a donation in any amount.
